A new Phil is back for the first time in five years. Since the release of the previous work, there has been an appearance at 2019 FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'19, a one-man performance at Hibiya Noon, a guerrilla live in Ginza that became a hot topic without any announcement, Hasunuma's return from Brooklyn, New York after the pandemic, and Philharmonic. The members released their remote distribution single 'Imr,' their independent live distribution performance 'API Spiral,' their performance at Orchard Hall during the state of emergency, appeared at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Opening Ceremony, and participated in dramas, movies, etc. Participating in theatrical accompaniment, starting a solo distribution song release project, and performing 'Shimei' at Ebisu Garden Hall at the end of 2022. This is the first studio album in about 5 years from Shuta Hasunuma's main project, Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic, whose activities have not slowed down even during the coronavirus pandemic, but have increased their momentum. The song production began in 2019 and will be completed in the winter of 2022, taking about three years to complete. Contains 10 songs in total. The title 'symphil' is a word coined by Hasunuma. 'sym-' means 'together. ' 'Phil-' means 'to love something. ' We put these together and created 'Shinfil' with the nuance of 'new Phil. 'The themes throughout the album are 'recovery' and 'coexistence'. 'Taking care of yourself. Also, living together by affirming others and the world outside of yourself. ' Rather than trying to change or resist the current situation in modern society, how can we work together and understand it while creating the situation? This concept was born out of the recording work of the Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Philharmonic Orchestra for the first time in several years in the summer of 2022, and the conversations and losses with people, friends, and colleagues I hadn't seen in a while during the recording period. The album includes a total of 10 songs, including the previously released songs 'HOLIDAY,' 'Eco Echo,' and 'Kyoo,' as well as the album version of 'Mayoiga,' a song by Hitsuji Bungaku in which Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic participated. . Mixed by Toshihiko Kasai, who is also a member of the album, mastered by Dave Cooley, jacket illustration by Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck, and design by Akira Sasaki. Listen:https://open.
