The Toy Dolls were formed in 1979 in Sunderland, England. Known for their humorous and often satirical lyrics, they have a distinctive style that combines fast-paced punk rock with catchy melodies and a quirky sense of humour. The band was founded by lead guitarist and vocalist Michael Olga Algar. Over the years, The Toy Dolls have released numerous albums, such as Dig That Groove Baby, A Far Out Disc, and Bare Faced Cheek. Their distinctive sound and fun-loving approach have earned them a dedicated fan base around the world. Despite the changes in musical trends, The Toy Dolls have remained active, continuing to tour and release new music while maintaining their unique brand of punk rock humour. This live album recorded at Hellfest in Clisson, France, 20 June 2022, has been compiled by Michael Olga Algar himself.
