Ignition Music Garage

The youngest band signed to Adelia Records, a subsidiary label of Creative Funk Enterprises, New Horizon hailed from the town of Laurelton in Queens, New York and it's collective members were barely 20 years old. The music for the single "True Love (Parts 1 & 2)" was originally conceived and arranged by Creative Funk producer Gary DeBerry. When vocalist Shelia Perry first heard the track she felt inspired to write the lyrics about a hot summer day of True Love, which flowed so smoothly with the track - the groove is hot and the band is definitely in the zone. The single starts out as an old school soul ballad, then morphs into a straight up helping of pure funk. Originally released in 1977 in a limited pressing, this ultra-rare classic has been newly remastered.
