Organ trio fans and R&B guitar fans alike will have something to rejoice about when they hear "Reach Out" b/w "Late At Night," an ultra-rare 1963 single, originally released on the New York City based Musicnote Records label, featuring an unknown but uber talented organist by the name of Jackie Haringston. This R&B organ trio instrumental single features some really excellent, funky guitar playing, not to mention the great organ playing that grooves hard throughout both sides of the single, with a funky drummer that holds it all together. This is top notch playing from all involved which begs the question: how is it that this appears to be the only known recording by this impressive outfit?
